Scarborough Lights

Thor’s Christmas adventure / Beauty and the Beast
Christmas is fast approaching (oh, yes it is!) and the Stephen Joseph theatre has 2 fantastic new family shows to spoil you with.
Beauty and the Beast adapted by Nick Lane promises silliness, sing-a-longs and plenty of sparkle, and is perfect for youngsters aged 6+
Thor’s Christmas Adventure is an original festive tale inspired by Thor the arctic walrus who visited us last year on new year’s eve. Performed by CU Scarborough’s acting students, this sweet treat is for children under 6.

Festive Dinner at The Oak Wheel
It just wouldn’t be Christmas without a cosy pub lunch. Treat your family, friends or work colleagues to a delicious pre-Christmas meal by a roaring fire in this gorgeous family run historic pub in the village of Burniston.

Fishtive
Fishtive is a Filey Christmas tradition that has to be seen to be believed. An enormous make-shift Christmas tree made entirely from lobster and crab pots and beautifully illuminated with fairy lights. It serves as the perfect tribute to our coastline’s fishing history, as well as celebrating what Christmas is all about – community. The Fishtive lights will be switched on from Dec 2nd-Jan 2nd at Coble Landing in Filey.
