There are many proven benefits to spending time in the great outdoors, and here in

– The Beach sauna
Wild swimming is hugely popular across the country, but particularly up here in Scarborough.
There are several swimming clubs/groups you can informally join or go it alone if you’re strong
swimmer. If you do go for a dip, be sure to stop by the pop-up sauna to warm up! Whitby
Wellbeing tours the North Yorks coast with their traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna, and often

– Cycle the Cinder track
There are so many beautiful towns and villages you can visit and enjoy the day at via the
Cinder Track. If you need a quick refreshment, you will find a number of refreshments stops
and charming pubs available along the route. Scarborough, Scalby, Cloughton, Ravenscar,
Robin Hood’s Bay, High Hawsker, and Whitby are all perfect to explore. Walk or cycle – enjoy it
your own way.
– Raincliffe Woods events
The Raincliffe Community Trust are bringing us more of their woodland workshops and events!
For October, we can look forward to a Coppicing talk, where you can learn all about this ancient
traditional method of woodland management with members of the Raincliffe team. Additionally,
you can get closer to nature with their Wellbeing Walk, Mindful Poetry and Stargazing events.

– Ghost stories at Scarborough Castle
Something extra spooky for Halloween – head to Scarborough Castle after dark this Halloween
