Visit The Scarborough Open Air Theatre
Make your stay with us a holiday to remember and enjoy a night out at the iconic Open Air Theatre. A pilgrimage for music lovers since the 30s, the OAT has solidified its reputation as a magnet for massive international stars including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Elton John and more since its 2010 reopening.
The OAT is looking forward to a huge summer in 2023, with appearances from Sting, Pulp and The Hollywood Vampires and more artists yet to be announced.
The auditorium is well designed to ensure there is no bad seat in the house and the visitor reviews are largely excellent due to friendly and helpful staff. There’s parking close to the venue which is free after 6, though the venue is relatively close to town and is a short walk.
Being in the open air, you are exposed to the elements, so it’s worth wearing something waterproof – they do sell plastic ponchos for £2 at the venue, but it’s worth remembering they will confiscate umbrellas!
That’s not all – The OAT also runs The Tipi Venue which hosts regular silent disco parties, and coming soon in summer 2023 is the all new Par-n-Bar venue! Crazy golf with pizza and wine? Sign me up!
